Vincent Sheheen is the mayor of Camden, a local attorney, and a former South Carolina state senator. He is the author of The Concise Guide to South Carolina State Government and, more recently, a burgeoning musician. His career reflects a deep engagement with South Carolina’s government, history, and communities. At this year’s festival, Vincent will perform with Valentine Wolfe as part of the Southern Gothic Opera Company and moderate “Behind the Headlines: The Susan Smith Case.”
